The in-house approval as a nuclear supplier took place as part of multi-day audits directly on site. All relevant processes were examined in detail – from material procurement and production to documentation, warehousing and logistics.

Screws for pump systems in nuclear power plants

Our screws are used in pump systems for cooling circuits and high-pressure applications in nuclear facilities, among other things. They guarantee maximum stability, fatigue strength and safety in continuous operation.

In addition to standardized fasteners, ASO Schrauben also manufactures individual turned parts according to customer specifications. Whether individual production or series production – we implement technical specifications precisely and provide the required documentation in full.

Our fasteners types

Special screws and custom screws can be designed in very different designs and functional types. Our standard screw types include stud bolts, threaded rods, and stud bolts, which are frequently used in pressure equipment or flange connections. Other variants include socket head cap screws, eye bolts, fitting bolts, or special screws with special thread forms. The combination of different head shapes, thread types, and materials results in highly specialized connecting elements that are precisely tailored to your requirements.

Materials for the highest demands of the special screw

Material diversity with technical precision.

The selection of the right material is crucial for the performance and service life of a special screw. Depending on the application, different metallic materials are used – from heat-resistant steels to low-temperature steels and rust and acid-resistant materials. Combinations with special coatings and heat treatments are also possible in order to optimally adapt the special screw to mechanical, thermal, or chemical loads.

A particular focus of ASO Schrauben is, among other things, the production of special fasteners for pressure equipment. Our connecting elements are used wherever maximum safety, material quality and manufacturing precision are required – for example in pressure vessels, flange connections, heat exchangers, valves or steam systems, in turbine construction and in classic mechanical engineering.

Thanks to many years of experience and modern manufacturing technologies, we produce screws according to drawings or special standard specifications – even from a quantity of 1!

Our production meets the strict requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and relevant regulations such as AD 2000-Merkblatt W0. The corresponding certificates (e.g. 3.1 / 3.2 according to EN 10204) document the quality and traceability of our products – a clear added value for safety-critical applications.
